Moulded Glass Vase by Josef Schott for Smålandshyttan, 1960s
Classic pressed-glass vase by Josef Schott for Smålandshyttan, Sweden, where he was head designer, circa 1960s. Features identical abstract patterning on all four sides. I’ve read that some of Schott’s pieces have his name pressed into the glass, and I’m pretty sure this does too. I’m certain I can make out an S and a H in the bottom right rectangle of the vase but the rest is a little too blurry to decipher, see last photo detail shot to see for yourself.
In good condition with a couple of minor chips to the rim.
